We did it! Your chamber of commerce has achieved 5-star accredited honors from the US Chamber of Commerce. This is a huge honor for the chamber and for the Lake Havasu community at large.
Our chamber has never been a slacker when it comes to excellence. Eleven years ago, then Chairman Kevin Myers and I had a conversation with our executive committee that included Jim Day, Mark Nexsen, Ralph Tapscott, Marcia Kellison, Laura Thor and Linda Riesdorph. The Chamber was in great shape, we had money in the bank, and things were looking quite rosy. The committee asked me: “We’re doing so well, how can we prove this and communicate our achievements to the membership and Lake Havasu City?”
